Pre-Treatment

Singeing, bleaching, mercerizing and open-width wet processing — preparing fabric for flawless dyeing, printing and finishing.

Continuous gas singeing line installed in a woven fabric finishing mill
6000 mm max. width — from 1600 mm, for woven, knitted & nonwoven lines.

Singeing Machines

A clean, flawless fabric face — before the first drop of dye.

State-of-the-art, fully automatic gas singeing lines that burn off protruding fibres and surface fluff to give a clean, smooth and lustrous fabric surface — the essential first step for even dyeing, sharp printing and high-quality finishing. Available as a standalone singeing range or combined with an integrated desizing unit.

Mode 1

Onto Free-Guided Fabric

The flame strikes the fabric as it runs freely between two guide rollers — maximum penetration and the cleanest finish.

Cotton & Heavier Blends
Mode 2

Onto a Water-Cooled Roller

The fabric is supported on a water-cooled roller while singed, protecting heat-sensitive fibres from thermal damage.

Synthetics & Lightweight Fabrics
Mode 3

Tangential Singeing

The flame passes tangentially to the surface, trimming only protruding fibres and leaving the base structure untouched.

* Optional desizing section: a steam-heated stainless-steel impregnation tank with automatic chemical dosing, filtration and a high-pressure padder removes size in the same continuous pass. A by-pass route lets the line run singeing-only.

  • Cleaner, smoother and more lustrous fabric surface
  • Significantly reduced pilling — especially on synthetic blends
  • Sharper, more even results in dyeing and printing

Stainless-steel rotor spray unit for chemical application ahead of the stenter
µm Micron-size droplets — less water into the stenter, less drying energy.

Rotor Spray Unit

Big energy savings. Faster stenters. Rapid payback.

A new-generation alternative to conventional padder impregnation for chemical application before the stenter. High-speed rotating discs atomise water-based finishing chemicals into micron-sized droplets that penetrate deep into the fabric structure — so the fabric enters the stenter carrying far less water. The result: major savings in drying energy, significantly higher stenter speeds and perfectly even chemical distribution.

Woven FabricKnitted · CottonKnitted · PolyesterPre-Stenter
  • Less water & gas in the stenter
  • Higher stenter running speed
  • Uniform chemical concentration
  • Consistent finish in warp & weft
  • Speed-synchronised dosing
  • Payback within months*

How the rotor technology works

01
Liquid feedThe chemical is pumped in continuous circulation for a stable concentration.
02
Disc dosingLiquid drips onto each motor-driven rotor disc.
03
AtomisationDiscs spinning at 2900 rpm throw the liquid through radial micro-grooves.
04
Micron sprayFine droplets penetrate the fabric texture evenly across the full width.
05
Speed syncAn encoder tracks stenter speed and corrects the spray volume in real time.
Spray vs. Padder

Why mills are switching their stenter entry

Moisture pick-up:
Low, precisely targeted (padder: fully saturated)
Water & gas use:
Significantly reduced drying load
Stenter speed:
Higher — no longer limited by drying
Chemical concentration:
Uniform, thanks to circulation
Finish consistency:
Consistent in warp & weft

Environmental Systems

Electrostatic exhaust purification for stenters, waste-heat recovery, dust filtration and duct fire safety — cleaner stacks, recovered oil and reusable heat.

Horizontal electrostatic exhaust purifier for stenter oil smoke, with spray, cooling and twin honeycomb electric-field sections
97.5% purification efficiency — oil smoke, lint and odour removed before the stack.

Electrostatic Exhaust Purification (ESP)

A clean stack. Oil captured. Heat put back to work.

Hot stenter and dryer exhaust — typically around 140 °C — carries oil mist, smoke, lint and odour. Our electrostatic purifiers cool the gas, strip out fibres and water-soluble contaminants, then charge and collect the remaining oil droplets on a hexagonal honeycomb electric field. The result is a stack that meets emission limits, oil that can be recovered — and, with an integrated heat exchanger, hot process water from heat that would otherwise be lost.

* Optional spray tower or cyclonic scrubber for fabrics that release heavy smoke, strong odour or waxy residue. Exhaust is brought below 40 °C before the electric field, where oil droplets condense and are collected most efficiently.

  • Pre-filter removes lint and coarse particles and prevents blockage downstream
  • Spray section washes out water-soluble impurities with recirculated cleaning water
  • Mesh stages hold back steam before the field and residual oil after it
  • Fan speed follows the duct pressure — air volume adapts, energy is saved
Honeycomb Electric Field

More collecting surface in a smaller housing

  • Hexagonal stainless-steel cells — about 2.6 times the collecting area of round-tube fields in the same space, with lower air resistance
  • Smart high-frequency HV power supply matches the field automatically and raises or lowers voltage with operating conditions
  • Timed, programme-controlled automatic cleaning keeps efficiency stable between services
  • Flame sensors on the inlet duct, cooler and field trigger the damper and steam or water suppression
  • Live status on mobile, tablet or PC via remote monitoring

Plume Abatement · How It Works

No steam, no cooling tower — the exhaust heats itself

01
Heat to waterHot stenter exhaust is cooled below 60 °C; its heat goes into process water.
02
Cyclonic sprayA twin-channel cyclonic scrubber takes the gas below 40 °C and separates water mist.
03
Honeycomb ESPOil smoke is charged and collected in the electric field.
04
Reheat & releaseExhaust heat lifts the clean gas above 80 °C — no visible white plume, even in cold, wet weather.

Waste-Heat Recovery

Turn stenter exhaust into hot water and warm air.

Stand-alone recovery units or modules built into a purifier — fitted with automatic cleaning, so heat transfer stays high between services.

Air-to-Air · Gas Balance

Absorbed by the fabric:
28% → 48%
Absorbed by the housing:

  • Saves 15–20% of stenter energy consumption
  • Less lint and oil build-up in exhaust ducts — lower fire risk
  • Mobile targeted auto-cleaning and automatic fire suppression
